mirrors for a 929 ????
I currently have a set of mirror block off plates, I also have a rear view camer and monitor on my bike and although I love the look of the block offs, I think that I need a set of mirrors to increase my safety while riding.
so what I was wondering is if anyone has or knows of a set of mirrors from an aftermarket source such as a different manufacture or even off a different bike that look a little better than the stock ones and offer a good field of rear view?
pictures would be appreciated as well if anyone has them
thank in advance!

People still using mirrors huh? Really?
j/k
I saw a guy who had a clip-on style one he got off of a ducati. I tried the MSR aftermarket universal mirror, and it was junk. The small duc one looked nice tho. If I find one when I'm out shopping I'll put a pic up on here.
And... subscribing.

I've got these on my bike...

They have them without the LED's as well. I like them lots - look clean like stock and have perfect visability.
If you'd like to see them they're in my, "ridiculously long" thread.

I like Rizoma mirrors as well, the first ones look like the stockers a lil with l.e.d.'s in them though.
as far as the camera goes, you know how they say objects in the mirror may appear .......
well with the camera they are closer than they appear.
sometimes when the sun is behind you, it puts a glare on the monitor and it makes it a lil harder to see behind you.

Not to call anyone out...
But I've got a buddy who rides a 929 with stock mirrors. He's prolly 6'3", maybe 250, easy.
He has no problem with his stocks and he's got some broad shoulders (Simoan).
Now - I'm going to take a risk of sounding like a complete tool, so pardon me beforehand...
You guys that say you can't see without moving around- you do know that the mirror has 2 distinct adjustments, right?
Push the mirror itself to where it's about a right angle from the front fairing, then bring the mirror itself back in - I'm sorry. I know this sounds stupid and elementary.
I just know that my mirrors now are about 1/4" shorter than stock - and I can see perfectly behind me in my normal riding position - all I have to do is lower my eyes.
Again - I don't want to sound like an *** (too late!). I just find it difficult to believe that people can't see out of these stock mirrors - they just seem to be the only thing on these bikes conducive to large-frame Americans.
My Simoan buddy can see just fine out of my mirrors as well... ?
