Default maybe future 929'er

hey guys,

quick question for you. i've been looking around in my area for a new bike. i found this 929 on craigs list. what do you guys think? how much should i offer? also what are some issues with the bike that i should know about? from what i have gathered it seems like it needs a steering damper?

http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/622211740.html

any help would be appreciated....

WOW!! It's my bike!! LOL The price seems pretty good. You might be able to get him closer to 4K, but now that it's getting warmer, I'm not sure. Clean looking bike. If it runs good, it looks like a pretty good find.

Sound like a good deal, especially if it "is perfect" and hasn't been toyed with. Keep us up to date.

They are fine, fine bikes. Two mods that you may want to consider:

1. steering damper - the front can get a touch twitchy under power and over bumps
and one of these puppies will help settle your steering and nerves

2. power commander - will help the low speed fuelling (which is not too flash)

All in, seems like an excellent deal for a great bike.

looks like a good deal. that yana shiki is loud...... very high pitched sounds more like a 600. i had one and got rid of it in favor of my acropovic.

+1 on the steering stabilizer
