Default LED turn signals

Will LED front turn signals and integrated LED brake lights using an LED flasher relay cause overheating of the wiring? I know it can cause fuses to blow if not upgraded and this leads me to believe there is more current going through the wiring. I foundthe multi connector that combines multiple grounds as well as multiple black/white tracer wires that is taped into the main harness by the fuel injection wiring connector burned up when I cut open the main wiring harness after realizing I had a ground issue. Trying to determine the cause of some of the ground wires being overheated baking the connector. I replaced the main harness but want to find out what might have caused this.

I am redoing all the wiring and fixing a previous owners poor repairs just wanting to be sure since this is the only aftermarket wiring change if this might have caused the issues with the burned up connector. I have checked everything else and was having an issue with ecm's going bad so really tore into the wiring and checked everything. Found this and realized all the ecm problems and other issues stemed from this issue and subsequent wiring changes to bypass the real issue of this. After checking and replacing thingsall the wiring is all in good shape now and checks out to specs. I just want to be sure that the turn signals and lighting if wired correctly won't cause this issue again.
