Hello fellow riders,

My name is Moe and I be been riding for 6 months started on a 93 gixer750 and I'm about to pick up a 929 year 2000 wih 25k miles for $2000. Any particular things I should be looking at before buying this bike. Common problems are they fuel injected, I rode my friends 954 and it was a smooth sit high bike comparing to the suzuki that I had. Also I'm 6'7" and I ws a lot comfortable on the honda over the suzuki. I hope I get some advises and looking forward to be a long time member. Enjoy your rides

 

$2000 is a good price if it's in good shape.

Generally speaking, the 929rr is solid and reliable. Make sure to look at the left engine case and cover. When they go down, that area can crack or break easily. Other than that, look it over like you would any other bike.

 

Thought $2000 is a great price since I talked him down from 2800. I will be posting pics and input once I pull the trigger

I think you will love the 929...It has always been a favorite of mine since I rode my buddy's back in 2000. I got rid of my '06 ZX-6 for my 929 and can't be happier.

Ok every one, the seller was coming to my house yesterday to sell me his bike and after I stayed home all day waiting on him he never shows up, not returning my calls or text, so I guess my journey ends now till I find a cbr I can afford.
