isnt there supposed to be some kind of flapper in the intake ,,, just went to replace the K&N it had when i bought it (going back stock thanks to what ive heard on this forum) any way i dont see the flapper thing a ma jigger like my buddys 954 , should i be concerned?

 

only if you really really want to have it completely stock!

 

i guess what i really mean is, was it removed for a reason? and is that reason positve or negative

 

It most likely was done for the same reason we all have done ours! hoping to free up some free horsepower. I still have all my stock parts in a box

just incase I ever want to put it back to stock but I don't see it happening.

was told by a dealer, that unless your racing, your better off leaving everything in there... Doesnt increase that much power. But I guess it stops the lag of power I guess. I dont know.. lol
