I try to ride as much as I can so as long as the weather holds....once the outside temps hit less than 50, i'll be done riding to work because of the 50 mile one way. I'll still ride around town though and I also have another bike an 06 kaw ninja 650 that i bought brand new in feb 2006 and have 19,xxx miles on her. you must leave down south were winter is non existent...

68,000 on my 929RR and still runs hard.

I only put 1250 miles on mine since i had it on the road in sept. put 5K on the fzr this year before i sold it. guess just keep a check on them valves clearncess ever 16K and ya should be fine correct? least on my fzr i had to check it ever 20K.

01' 929, 37,xxxx miles.........and running very strong. Did a compressionon check after I bought it and had 10% drop in each cylinder.

34,000 miles with ALOT of wheelies. just replaced the stator. I will be buried with this bike.

I picked up my '01 Erion 929 just 80 days ago. It had 5301 miles on it. In the last 80 days, I've put over 8k miles on it. Living in California does have its advantages.

I have around 20k on mine, runs good, one thing that bothers me is some funny noise only in 4th gear, it's like a wine, anybody else's does that?

+1 Just Ride it.

Oil changes are very important to bikes as they are a lot harder on oil than cars are. Specialy if you have a wet clutch with is almost all the bike out there.

Use a good quality oil AMSOIL, Motul, RedLine to name a few. People also use Deisel oils like Delo, Rotella with good success to save a few bucks.
