I bought a "H I D" head light on ebay, and my friend told me that this isnt HID.
THe box says H7 EURO DEZIGNS 8500k H.I.D & D.O.T. Approved

I bought 2 boxes, which have 4 of those, ummmm shall i just keep it and use it? or I should purchase another real HID.

 

How is it not real HID? what lights did you purchase?

 

More info please. Did it come with the ignition ballasts? Or just bulbs? Please elaborate.

OK he's correct those are not HID bulbs but meant to give the blue look of the HID's. Listed below is a link to a site that has the actual HID's that you can fit to your bike.

I'm thinking about making this my next mod, but I did have a question. Where did everyone mount the ballasts for the bulbs?? Does anyone have any pics of the installation?? Thanks a lot!

 

I mounted mine in the right side air duct. There is more room in the left.You could put it there also.Best part two bolts the cover is off. I had to extend the wires so that I could get to the battery but it was the best place. I'll try to take some pics this weekend.
