to get the codes stand bike on the kick stand turn the ignition switch to run and the key to on, but dont start the bike. the red light should start to flash. one long flash is equal to 10 and a short flash is equal to 1.(i think a long flash will be about 4 seconds or long so, and a short flash will be just one second long) so if you get 2 long flashes and 7 short flashes that would be code 27. and if you download the manual it will tell you how to do this and it will also have a list of the code numbers and what the code is. its been a while since i had to pull a code frome my bike but this is how i remember its done. if im wrong someone please correct me.
