RE: Hanging Bike upside down.
I should just keep my mouth shut like i usually do since im not sure. But i would think it's not a good idea for many reason's unless you drained all the fluids (atleast the oil, brake fluid is prob ok..). Then i don't think there would be too much issue.
What are you JB welding under there ?

I've never heard of this one lol... but here's my advice anyways.
Take the 2 hoses that run into the air box off, and cap them. Consider it a short term kleen air mod. All I know is that's a route for oil to get into the airbox... and the last thing you need after all your work, is throwing a rod when you start it again because of hyperlock.
Other fluids I believe will be ok... ie gas, brake, coolant, blinker etc.
We'll call this my 1 cents.

Why not grab it with some straps and lift the front up say wheelie height. Then use some masking tape or what not to make a dam so the quick fix doesn't drop off. I'd be cautious about flipping completely. Even if the fluids don't come out on the floor, what if they get past the rings and seals. You got think about the drainback galleries also where the oil returns to the bottom end. It would cost more but think about getting someone to TIG it from the bottom side, assuming your fixing aluminum. A good welder can squeeze a TIG torch about anywhere. 2c.

It is not a good idea. What are you jb welding that requires that much jb weld to be applied all at once where it will drip off by gravity? Fuel will get into your airbox, radiator overflow resivoir will leak. Depending how you strap it upside down, say, from the wheels, then you may put to much stress on the front forks.
It's just a bad idea all the way around.
As an alternative, here are a few tips you could do instead of hanging it upside down. Lift it into a 12 o-clock position. and then apply layers of jb weld. OR, apply a liberal amount to some form of duct tape and tape the duct tape to the outer areas of the place you are applying the jb weld to.
