I got a 2001, 929. lately I have been having problems with shifting inbetween gears. Its happening in second-third, fith-sexth. most all the time I'm hard on the gas. Is this me and the way I'm shifting or what. if you have any clue let a bother know.

 

Sounds like possible bent shift fork in the tranny. Pretty common occurrence.

 

position the lever farther down, and this should alleviate your shifting problems. You're just not lifting up high enough.
