I have a red ART (in avatar) that is for sale if you're interested. I would do $150 to your door. It sounds really good, but I just use my Micron full time. The ART is just taking space in my storage right now. If you want pics and are interested, just PM me withyour outside email address and I can send them tomorrow.

Thanks for the info guys. I don't think I like the red...
Which muffler do you like better? Is alum ok? Will any of these give me more hp? The Two Bros claims to add 5hp. I am looking for something that sounds good but not rediculously loud.
Jardine RT-1 Slip-On alum slip onfor $289
TwoBros M2 alum slip on for $350
Yoshimura RS-3 Race Bolt-On for $265
D&D alum slip on for $282
YANA SHIKI Slip-On exhausts for $199
There are some others for more $$ but I think this price range works for me.
Thanks to anyone who helps I have had a carbon two bros on a past bike. The is the one I am leaning toward is the alum two bros.

Thanks for the article! Here is what I am thinking...
I love my bike and just bought it last year after driving an sv650 with two bros carbonfor 2-3 years. The 929has maybe 12000 miles (it's in storage right now) and is fully stock besides the steering damper. I like everything about it including the gas mileage which is about 40mpg. This is important to me. My understanding with exhaust is I can get a full exhaust system and pc for $1500 which will give me more hp but lower my mpg. If I get a titanium slip-on it will cost meprobably what about $700?? I am not sure what the cost is...
From the article it sounds like I should stay with the stock exhaust because from the alum slip-ons I found there will not be much of a difference with hp or weight. The only difference will be the sound. However, I like the rumble of non-stock
Anyway, out of theslip-on's Ipicked which one would you go for?

hey Marley, you have a 929, a beautiful bike in every way but its still a 7-8 year old motorcycle. So why would you invest (and by invest i mean flush) $1500 bucks down the toilet for a full exhaust and a pc3?
think used, and i say this to save you money. Lets think about it, the bike is used so why buy new, i got a full exhaust for like $250 it was new and i got it on ebay, i got a pc3r used gor like $100 bucks and some change.
everything works as described and was as advertised and i saved according to your figures $1150.00
ebay is a great place to find stuff and here on the forum, now not so much here but on ebay you need to be carefull about purchasing things that people say will fit a 929 and it really being for a 600rr or a 900rr and the condition but there are honest people too like the ones i have delt with.
so just keep that in mind and i have bought almost every part i have upgaded on my 929 off ebay, this is the bike that e-bay built more or less

Your bike lookssweetand thanks for the advice! I agree with you. From what I know aftermarket parts don't increase the value of the motorcycle by very much and is not worth the investment. I will give ebay a shot. If you run across anything please let me know.
