tomorrow morning going to look at the bike I posted about with no spark. Of coarse I wont be able to test ride it, but can anyone give me any key things to look for on this bike? Its an '00 w/17,000mi.

look @ the fork seals for leaking. look @ the chain and sprockets. look @ the stator cover for oil leaks. look under neath the subframe for excessive rubber (implying alot of burnouts done). look for bent or curbed rims. look for suspension settings (might not be a bad thing but its always good to see how the seller has messed with it) make sure all the electrical works . those ar ethe majority things to look @ when you cant start a bike.. dont forget the obvious stuff like title, registration etc

I bet we can fix that "no spark" issue in a matter of a few days. I've been down that road and can walk u through it pretty easy. You would be surprised at how small that problem could be....=-)

 

well, I bought it. $2500.
Took it to a friend's house where I did some testing. Turns out the fuel pump is getting power and has good ground but isn't doing anything....so I need a fuel pump.
Anybody got one?
I'll put up pics later.
