gearbox making nosie

gearbox making nosie
My gear box is making a knocking nosie even when it is idealing. if i ride it and kill the engine i can still hear the noise. i thought it was my clutch so i changed the basket and everything else in there looked good. could this be a bearing in my trany making the nosie need help.
