Hey guys,
I just rebuilt a crashed 929 this winter and the gauges change back and forth (on their own) while I'm riding from MPH to KPH and Celsius to Fahrenheit. I did have a ground problem on the front signals and just cheated and ran a new one to the frame. Has anybody had this happen? Other than this issue the bike is amazing! I did replace the ecu and wiring harness to get it running...

Thanks for any ideas on what to do.

 

Maybe some moisture inside the gauge cluster itself tripping some of the buttons ??? .... the only thing that changes the gauges from kph to mph is a push of the button on the gauges faces .... maybe try pulling the gauges off and opening em up to see if there is moisture present ....

 

Sounds like a good plan. I'll try and report back.
