Fuel pump won’t prim unless wires to battery
Hey guys, so I recently put a full exhaust on my 929, changed valve shims ,and when I put everything back together I got no spark. However my fuel pump was still priming, everything worked but no spark. After not finding anything obvious I pulled the whole harness out to check every wire.well all the wires seem to check out . Hen I found the zener diode was giving 10 volts to ecm instead of 9. So I orderd some diodes. Well waiting for them I decide to put the harness back In, and now my fuel pump won’t prime. So I thought maybe since I removed the old diode that could be why. I hooked up a 9v battery and nothing. The fue primes when I wire it to a battery. My relays work , kill switch, all switches work. The only thing I can think of is bank angle and I have it bypassed . The red and green wire. White wire is just wrapped up to it it making not contact.
