First post, questions on K&N and brake light switch.
Hello all,
First time post here. About a month ago I picked up an 01 929RR and am loving it. I've had everything from Harley's to GSXR 750's and this is my favorite bike yet.
2 questions.
1. Is the K&N air filter worth it? I don't see how it couldn't be really as I've installed one on every other vehicle I've ever owned and have been happy.
2. When I apply my front brakes, I have to push the lever back a bit or the brake lights won't go off. I can hear the switch but am unsure where it is or how to get to it.
Thanks in advance.
Jeff

RE: First post, questions on K&N and brake light switch.
K&N has been shown to reduce power slightly on our bikes. I would suggest a BMC street filter (cleanable) or stick with stock. As for the brake switch, remove the lever, and clean all the crud out of there... just re-grease the lever pin & the switch & it should be fine.
