Default Electrical Issue

2001 CBR 929 RR, sits in the garage long periods while on a trickle charger. Last I tried to fire the bike everything went normal as always. Head light comes on bright and the fuel pump primes. As soon as I push the start button, it clicks and the power goes off completely including head light and digital display screen. All fuses including the 30 amp inside the starter relay look okay. The power comes back once a while but when try to turn the engine over everything dies all over. Please respond with any idea.
Thank you;
Matt Cohen

New battery, even though the head light comes on bright. Also how come the whole system goes off including gauges, etc. upon trying to turn the engin over?

The battery has a bad cell and can't take the load of the starter. That and the relay is designed to bypass all non essential things during cranking.
