error code 23
 

When I turn ignition ON, I get two longer red flashes and three shorter ones, so I supose that stands for error code 23?

Can anyone please look into the service manual and tell me what does error code 23 meens?

HERE is your manual.

a long flash counts as 10 and the fast flash is a 1. So bliiiiink bliiiiink blink blink blink should be 23.

I need to order a manual from honda and that tool kit that comes with the 01 929rr. Unless someone here knows a better place to get these things. So sorry no help from me on the codes.

I tried finding a tool kit too but the ones on ebay were more than I expected to pay. I had a friend of mine come through with a spare one for me that I need to go pick up.

I don't get it. My manual ( from the stephygee site ibkevman mentioned) says to count the total flashes - it doesn't say anything about ones and tens - I may be missing it...

Of course, it also says nothing about 5 flashes, so I dunno....

23 is the code for a bad O2 sensor heater. Is yours a California model?

I work at a honda atv dealership so I will try to get some price info on a manual an tool kit. I'll post what i find out.

That is the thing that troubles me. How can it have error of the part that dont exist on my model????

I have full Akrapović exhaust system on my bike, and it does not have EX valve of course so I thought that that might have something to do with the error. BTW servo motor is pluged to the harnes wire normally, and only thing that is connected to it is air box.

Turns out that I have cali. model afterall, and that O2 sensor heater is bad. I called my local dealer for the price of new one and I almost blacked out when I heard the price. 300 $ for that little pice of sh....
Dose anyone have idea how I can ride without O2 sensor and not to get red light and FI?
