Sup bumble ! How goes it. Did ya get the bike all fixed yet? Hey slyder. Where did ya get the rebuild kit for your engine? I want to get one for the 954 engine I have . Il probley just do a basic rebuild.
whats up stealth... yea i got her all fixed but what im gonna do it buy another bike and completely rebuild the engine again along with all new fairings... while im at it im going to buy and install a 954 swing arm to improve handling...
Sup bumble. You should get a 954 engine rebuild that and put that in the 29 frame thats what I'm going to do along with the 54 swing arm. Actually The 54 swing arm is longer then the 29 swing arm .
Sup man. Yeah if you use the 54 swing arm with the 54 engine it's a complete swap bolts right in 29 frame A couple of connectors are different And the holes In the air box will need to be made bigger from 40mm to 43mm I think I'm using a complete 54 Including the cluster Some people will try and cut corners just using engine and not the harness and throttle bodies ect.. If your going to do it do it right ! The whole purpose is the ecu is updated from the 54 better throttle response and programming A little. Bit more power
hmmm maybe ill do that... its gonna be a while though cuz im thinking of buying a new truck and a new bike before i tear this one apart and do work on it... I wanna have a bike to ride... and it would take me about a week to 2 weeks doing the swap all by myself in between work and school and hospital visits...
The 954 is a sweet bike, and I agree..do it right. Look at doing the exhaust cam swap, when you do the motor..that, along with ecu upgrade, exhaust upgrade, should get you in the neighborhood of 150 bhp. Currently fabbing and modding a 85' VFR700F Soon as the serious work gets started, I'll start a post about the progress. Full custom, paint, etc..not gonna do much to the motor, plan on it being more of a conversation piece, with the occasional ride to a bike night or something. It'll go as fast as I can make the money..lol.

Wheels frame and swing arm are Geting powder coated too
