Default detonation

thanks for the spot for the idle adjuster screw, now that I put that back in I started the bike and now it is detonating, wtf , all I wanted to do is put a new filter on the bike and now this crap started. any help thanks

hope it wasnt a K&n filter cause those actually show a decrease in hp over oem

so explain this "detonating" more please

yep it is a k&n, if it does decrease hp why are the ads for it on this forum, and with the filter off it still detonates

well when I start up the bike it runs fine for 2 seconds then it detonates I took the filter cover off, and started it and I can see were the butterflys are, I see sparks, I dont understand it wasnt doing this before the idle adjuster came out, and I found a spring, and I dont know were it goes

Disconnect your battery for five minutesto reset the Cpu( worth a try). The spring most likely goes on the adjuster screw (too keep tension on the screw).
