I have had no issues with oem at all. I did however upgrade to Barnett kevlar on my last plate and spring change. To me they seem to grab a bit quicker, and feel a bit more responsive. Not a night and day difference, but still noticable to me. So far after 5k miles its held up great.

When I did my clutch rebuild, I just took it apart, and checked the tolerances on the fibers, and inspected the metal plates. They were blued a little bit, so just ended up replacing everything... Plates, fibers, springs. I went OEM. No problems.
