You said you tried to set it? Is it reseting everytime you shut the bike off? Maybe you havent set it. If not.... hold a and b button togather untill the "1" blinks. A button moves the adjuster from hour to minutes. B sets the hour/minute. If it keeps reseting itself then on your right side under the air intake cover, pull the plugs (Blue and grey) apart. Spray them with electrical cleaner, let sit to drain out, the plug back in.

k i will try the plug thing. but i have tried to set it but it just wont stop flashing and only flashs 1:00. The flashing 1:00 will not change no matter how long i ride. i have been reading about it just nobody has had it stuck on 1:00. but guessing its not getting the constant 12v. do you know where the fuse for the clock is located?

i thought i had the same problem for the past 5 years. until today this post motivated me to try again. it worked.

hold both the buttons together. try it a few times and you should get the flashing hour or minutes.

the part that messed me up before i think was the fact that i didn't know how to actually "set it" once you choose the time. no button set it. and if i turned the key back to off it would reset again. apparently you just have to wait for it for a few seconds and it sets itself as long as you don't keep pressing the buttons.

got it fixed took a couple times. the A button is going out so had to push kinda hard.

Same thing happened to mine. Remove wind screen then remove speedo and unplug it then reinstall. Worked for me. Removing the wind screen just gives you more room to work.

I was having this issue for a couple of weeks, it was so frustrating that I ended up finding nothing online that worked and even replaced the battery. I came across this forum but since I wasnt logged in i didnt see anyone elses replies.

Here is what I did and what worked for me. I dont know if there is any relation to the steps but I tried different key combos including the one in the manual for weeks and nothing worked.
So what I tried was;

- flip the kill switch to ON position

- disconnect headlight/running light connections from the bulbs (Since some posts mentioned about electrics/power)

- Turn the key on where the dash gets the power and does the checks. (Btw my bike doesn't have any issues/codes reds leds flashing etc)

- Observe the clock is still flashing

- Follow the clock time set steps.
  1. Press the left conftol button ( 1) while
  2. pressing the right control button (2 ),
  3. The minute display will start flashing.

- After setting the time, switch off the bike, connect everythng back, flip off the kill switch and cycle the key.- Observe the clock no longer flashing and time is what you set last.

- Enjoy and relax !

Hope this will help someone
