Hi all,

am a pretty new member. I recently turned my 929 into a wreck on a country road here in Western Australia. Snapped the triple clamp at the top and bottom and broke every panel. Good news is, the frame is straight and the engine is good. I am going to turn her into a track bike, so... help me out here!

Who races one? are they still competitive, what suspension mods have people done, esp front end, what engine mods/kits are available, do HRC still do a 929 speed kit?

Help wanted please!!!

ERION has tons of stuff for the 929 on their site. For race purposes you're going to want to race-tek the front and rear suspension or use ohlins. Dial in your suspension, don't worry to much about power, the bike has plenty, other than that i'd get better rotors and brake lines and haul *** at the track.

 

when you say race-tek - do you mean a brand or do you just mean rebuild it all?
