Default aftermarket parts

Well now that I am officially on disability and at home all day, I've had plenty of time to look on-line for parts and upgrades for the upcoming dry season. Just curious because I've been hitting a lot of dead ends. Does anybody else seem to notice the shortage of aftermarket parts available to us 929 owners? Just wanted to see other 929 owners opinions on this.

Of course there is a shortage... it was only made for 2 years. Ebay is good for finding things, as you already know.. Craigslist is good if you like driving somewhere to bargain.

Sounds like you have the best of all worlds - disability checks AND able to ride your bike

Trey said it all - 929 didn't stay in production long enough for there to be plenty of manufacturers wanting to spend on tooling to make aftermarket goodies,
A bit like the 1000F - hard to find any aftermarket stuff.............

Yeah you guys make sense and shadow, no riding around here, I can barely get my arm up to a 45 degree angle and my bike is in with the mechanic, and crazie, I'm referring to aftermarket upgrades to oem parts.

Cross reference which 954 parts work, sometimes there the same and sometimes switching to a 954 part is an upgrade all in itself. But aside from Exhaust PCIII and a steering stabilizer I don't see a whole lot in need on this bike aside from the normal cosmetic stuff, turn signals undertail, pegs and I love the knock off adjustable levers and gas cap on my F4 so surely I will put some on my 929. Can't say enough about those levers they work amazing I actually robbed the clutch lever off the F4 because it's the same.

Of course a full exhaust, a pcIII, and steering damper are first. but aside from that the choices are very limited. But that just makes me more determined to actually own a bike that stands out from the rest.

929rrcali-
what exactly are you looking for? I got a little lost in your post, are you looking for aftermarket or oem parts?
I have some extra oem parts that i've replaced and looking to get an aftermarket full exhaust or at the bare minimum a header.

He is talking about the lack of resources and sites to find AFTERMARKET UPGRADE TO OEM PARTS.
