929rr won't run right
I just bought a 01 Honda 929 as a project bike 2 lrean on off my boss cause he got tired of fixing it the weird part is it only has 2019 miles on it. Heres the problems one it will only run when the starter button is pushed in as soon as I let go of it it shuts off. Also it smokes but the smoke smells like it runing rich on gas. Also their is a flashin red light next 2 the n light what does it mean. He had it in the shop before the he had a new head put on and 3 new injectors.

I never checked the antifreze levels so it could b low I'll to that in the morning when riding it it was between 177-183 is that high or normal. Anybody got a idea about the trans problem I dont get how this bike just gets problems from nowhere. no wounder its been in and out of the shop so many times with only 2019 miles. Sorry skubysank I failed English so taking more lessons will only confuse u even more and sorry I'm a mechanic not a English teach so words dont work with me but gas and motor oil do

Long shot... but shuts off? Kickstand censor? Should be wires attacked to the kickstand... safety feature...
few questions. will the bike turn over and warm up... does the red light stay on the whole time, or does it flash? Do you have a flashing FI light? Are you running a stock clutch lever or an after market one? (another safety feature on the clutch lever) Let us know... walk us exactly thru the problem. Clarify your problem a bit more, and we can guess a lot less. =)
