heyypeople, i got an 01 929 and it wont seem to start right now, its like 7 degrees out soo do you think thats why, the starter and everything works and it sounds like it wants to start but wont. idk i am a little worried but it started yesterday

 

go back inside where its warm! global warming will warm things up soon

 

hahah well that will be nice but is that whats wrong?? i am a little sketched b/c i thought fi bikes would start fine in sub zero weather.......but i pray i am wrong

 

Is your fuel line frozen? Or if your battery is to dead to keep the fuel injection running it will just crank but never really fire. Charge it and give it another shot.

 

yah i tried jumping it,if the battery is to dead will jumping it not work? or do i actually need to charge it? I need some help here

 

yeah ya might have to give the battery a liitle more cranking power. jump it off your car but dont have the car running.

 

yah thats what i did, it would turn or whatever like make the noise before it starts but it just wont start.........not sure what that means, could it be a fuel thing b/c its soo cold?

 

My f2 did that during the summer....the plugs were bad.

 

Bring it inside and tuck it in bed, show it a little love and maybe it will start. Poor thing been freezing all winter LOL

 

actually charge the battery with a motorcycle battery charger and try it again.
