this mod is great for aftermarket tails, yer rite, finding that key hole sucks...my bud up the road did it on his 929 and its pretty trick, he used a trunk selenoid from a junkyard car...peece

+1. Spring is stock setup, and as soon as I turn my key the seat pops up and stays.

Thanks everyone! I got the spring and it works great! Now I just need to get the solenoid. Which will probably be just part of my winter projects list. Aussiephoenix did you get it installed yet? If so how did it go?

I only just got all the parts, Ill document it here when I get a chance to do it.
been busy repairing a bummed PC at home, grrrr.
Im still missing a spring, and even on ebay havent been able to get one...
I've tried adapting other springs, but its a bastard to get it to the right shape and preassure so it opens the "trunk"
