Default 929 shock link??

Hey all, i had a question on how the adjustment works on the shock link or dog bone. i am rebuilding my 929 after a hit and run t-bone. i had to replace the swingarm and engine mount and come to find out i had a 954 swingarm . so i wanted to go back to original . then i developed a kickstand angle problem . i am told that the shorter the dog bone it raises the bike and the longer one will lower it. any help ??

I guess you would be correct. If the lower bracket was shorter, it would push the swingarm down. Longer would push it up.
