Default 01 929 UNDERTAIL

im thinking about getting a hot bodies undertail what is involved with putting one of those on i put one on my f3 and its was flimsy and nothin lined up right and it looked ok not great so i was just wondering is it worth it or am i going to have the same expeirence.

Would you be selling a stock one if you get aftermarket? I need a black one if thats what you have.

you need the stock undertail because your battery tray is attached to it. When you put an undertail on you just cut the stock one back so that it will fit under the undertail

I couldn't afford one after every thing else I put on the bike. So, I shaved down the stock one and painted it. Kinda like a poor mans mod...

I got mine from Texas Fairing. Was able to keep the stock battery tray...Easy install...

i have an atifibras undertail that i could sell...its used and the beuty of it is its one piece...meaning its your battery tray as well....ill post pics later

thats awsome man,i got allmost no $$$ and those poor man mods have really helped me out,and its allways the simplest one that people dont think of,props to you on it

looks good, I'm all about the homemade goodies too. I just can't bring myself to pay big bucks for junk. I've tried some of these under tails on other bikes and some brands are a total piece of crap. I hacked my stock tail, but never thought about painting it. Looks good! Same thing with my solo cowl, OEM is expensive. Ebay alternative is probably a piece of poo+ not cheap, so I made my own.
