What hose connects here, what does it do and where does it go ?
was just wondering is a hose connects these two nipples together and If so what's the poropuse for it and would that explain why my far right Carb is leaking quite a bit of fuel when running?
I've had them serviced at the start of the year full replacement of seals, jets and floats, ran awesome then put away the bike for about 3 months during the winter, started it today after a service and noticed it was leaking really bad
@Howie1998 Those are the Air Vent tubes. They allow air into the float bowl so that the fuel level can go up and down without resistance. Those two get connected together with a T fitting and then routed to a Sub-Air cleaner. The Sub-Air cleaner keeps dirt from getting into the float bowl and clogging the jets. I mean why filter your fuel if you just let dirt get into those openings.
As for the leaking, I'd get my money back on the seals replacement job they did. The leak is most likely coming from the O ring seal on the Fuel Joint between the 2 carburetors on the right. Here's an image of how the carb bodies go together. Those carburetors are filthy and need to be cleaned properly. Most likely they did not take the carburetor bodies apart to replace the seals on the T joints.
