Does anyone have any experiance in upgrading an instrument panel on a 1998 CBR900RR? I would like to put in a digital panel with a fuel gauge? Anyone anyone???

 

I havent heard of anyone doing that, the most common swap is an F4i digital guage, but ive never heard of anyone doing it on a 98 900 RR, i helped a buddy of mine put an F4i guage set on his F3 and it was pretty simple, i thought about putting one of mine but couldnt find anywhere it had been done. Even if you put an F4i guage set on there the fuel light only comes on when you hit reserve. Maybe someone with a little more experience can help you out here. BTW if you need a wiring diagram or anything let me know ill e-mail it to you, i might could even take pics of a Haynes manual i have if you need anything specific.

I have complete the Swap on a 95 RR and I love it. I dont have the feul gauge tho. I used a F4i gauge, a custome Speedo healer, A GPS to corret the speed and a temp sensor the you already have. I will get you the link with the info that help me complete the swap. if you want pictures I will get you some.
