Default stutters from 1500 to 3000 rpms

So I am having a heck of a time figuring this one out.. theres a thread in the 600 section with the same problem but i was threadjacking someone else so i fugured i would start my own thread.. it’s a 93 893ccwith individual filters.. (its jetted for them with 130 main)

Prelude: went out for a ride and the bike was great rode about 150 miles and was on the way home. Went to leave a light and the bike started stuttering like I was out of fuel switch to reserve and it didn’t change at all so I went and filled up and no change.

Here are the symptoms: when I leave a light the bike stutters to about 3000 rpms then it is fine, if I ride the clutch and give it a lot of gas it is smoother but its still there.. its been harder to start after it runs and you shut it off (like its flooded), and with the filters off when you give it gas you can see it puff gas out of the intakes not bad but a mist.

I can rev it in neutral or do a burnout and its fine, it only happens when I ride it for a little bit then stop and go to take off again..

I have cleaned the carbs twice thouroughly , new plugs, ran 6 tanks of gas through it, seafoam and gumout carb cleaner , cleaned the pilot and main jets 3 times, its getting enough fuel, and the plugs look perfect( light brown color to them), and all 4 cylinders are firing.

Please help!!! I have gone through the checklist and the rear of the manual and the the only thing I haven’t done is synch the carbs but that was done last year when the shop tuned and jetted it or the valves..
Also I pulled the needles out and 2 were scrapped up pretty good and one had a chip out of it but they list 2 on the fische so what ones do I need??

IT sounds like the carbs are getting too much fuel have you tried switching the jet back to stock and then see what it does..
