Spun a rod bearing - can I resurface the crank?
Guys,
Howzit? I spun a rod bearing on my 95 CBR 900RR. I found some rods and bearings on ebay for cheap. I also found a crankshaft but after purchasing it I found it was for a 96, it wont work for me. Now, on a low budget already, I need to unload this crankshaft and get another.
My question is, can I resurface the crankshaft or micropolish it where the rod bearing spun? or do I have to buy another one. If I can, do they sell oversized bearings to compinsate for the difference? Any help?
