spun a rod on a 95.

spun rod on my bike.. told that not worth time would have to replace crank rod berrings gaskets ect to the toon of 2k or so. SO now looking for a new motor.. was wondering what all motors would fit in bike. I know that 93- 95 will work.. not intrested in doing a lot of mods to make it fit. no one near me has skill to do that or that i would trust.. heard that a 96 will fit not sure on that. i saw that some one had a 99 in a 93.. I am looking for someting that is going to be reliable.. not have to keep adjuting crap. can anyone let me know what break down is for years and what all you would have to do to fit someting diffrent.. ANYONE got a motor?? thanks for any info

RE: spun a rod on a 95.

THAT SUCKS! Check out ebay and anything from 93-99 should fit, I THINK. Check the dealer just in case I am forgetting something. Should be drop in if I am not mistaken that you can do on your own with a basic tool set. I've seen good engine on EBay from 750-900. Good luck
