Default speedometer not working

Hey guys,
I have a 99 CBR 900 in which I put a 96 engine. Ever since the swap, my 99 speedometer gauges were not working properly. They would say I was going 10 mph when I was doing 70mph! Anyway, do you think that I may need the 96 gauges in order for the 96 speed sensor to register my speed properly? Remember, the 99 speed sensor is different then the 96! Any thoughts....all my connections are good! Thanks....

Default

you will need the guages off of the 96 model or one that is compatible with the engine
