Replaceing the Brake Lever
 
I pulled into the gas station tonight to fill up and when i stopped the bike there was oil where my foot was and the bike slip right over. But the problem is when the bike fell the front brake lever snapped off so now it needs repelaced?.....it was dark when it happened so i havent had a chance to be able to look at it yet, but anyone no if there's anythign special or hard about replaceign this? Just wanted to get soem info so there's no surprises. THanx.

turn the cable tension all the way down, then take the bolt out for lever, take it off, take the new level, put the cable into the lever, then put it on with bolt and tighten, and then tighted up the cable tension and go ride!

Ok thanx alot...The cable was the only thing i was concerned with. Now i just have to wait another 4-5 days for honda to get the part. But oh well. i was expecting $70+ for it, but luckily for anyoen who wants to know the part is only $26.

$26???? You got robbed I just replaced both of my levers and it only cost me 22 for both.
