Ive got a 93 with 43k miles.... -1/+5 sprockets..... Pick whichever gear you want, accel hard and dip the clutch in the middle of the revs. Youll be lookin at the sky. START SMALL. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Don't go loopin a 93 there gettin hard to find.

to make your mods (K&N) more effective. You need to do things such as add a full system exhaust and a jet kit. This will give your engine the most power without doing internal engine work.

I fully agree with grubeda that a K&N, jet kit and full pipe system is the best standard mod. I got to know it will give an extra 10hp. Is it true? And what is the best full exhaust system to go with? I think Akrapovic will be the best bet.

I don't know what pipe I have on mine specifically, but I bought a used '93 which has an akrapovic on it. Sounds amazing, and looks pretty good too. Wish I could tell you where the guy got it, but just thought I'd point out that Akrapovic makes one that can in some manner be put on '93.

What about this? Does any of you guys using this slip on? It produce awesome deep sound but I don't think the power gain is noticeable. What jet kit should go with it? Thanks. Its Vega Sports (racing project) anyway.

Don't the 93-95's have a powerband at 8000rpm? Shouldn't have any problems coming up at that. At least thats what it said in my Haynes manual, though it seems my Haynes is European so it may be different over thare I dunno.
