The old girl still does it
 

Seeing as Wales was drenched in something I think is referred to as “sunshine” it was obviously time to take my 95 blade for a spin.
Accompanied by my mate on a new Gsxr750 we headed off to the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons
The roads up there are perfect with loads of variety so plenty of other bikes frequent the area. Mine is obviously more dated than most others but she still does handle and behave just as she should.
She might be knocking on a bit now but the roll on power is smooth and still very progressive, roll off is just as traceable with no brakes required for endless miles whilst I watch others go up n down n up and down gearboxes and jamming on their brakes. She might not be classed as an out and out sports bike now but she can still haul ass and have other bikes wondering wtf ?
I’ve owned her for over 15 years and she’s a keeper.
The old girl still does it.....and does it well.

Know what you mean Wes, I dont ride my bike to impress anyone just love to go out , me and the bike and do what we want, my days of speeding are long gone , but sometimes I let the bike off the leash to let it have some fun, call at a road side cafe get a cup of tea then home, Heaven :)
