Default new and in need of help

i just recently pusrchased a 1996 900rr it has about 8000 miles and is in impeccable shape. This is the first bike i have owned myself i have ridden others but never owned. Soing research i was wondering is it really that necessary to convert to a 17 ingh front? it already has a muzzy exhaust modified airbox new chain sprocket and clutch can you think of anything else in dire need of an upgrade? also it is in amazing shape not a mark low miles and new tires but is 4000 to much??

that all depends on how how the lat guy treatet it. Just off hand, I'd say chance the oil and filter and inspect those things you know to look for. Considering my own 96 CBR900 had just over 13K when I Bought it, youi should be in good shape.

remember if it aint broke dont' fix it. the 17 just helps in tire choices, i've found like 3 brands that make 16's....its a pain
