Hello folks, name is Martin and I live near Atlanta. I have been riding road bikes regularly for the past 18 or so years. Quite a few have been Honda's with two CB750's, and an88CBR600Hurricane. I have finallybeen able to get myself another sportbike after riding a Harley the past few years. I got a 96 900RR . Its got 14K, seems to run fine, with some mild and very fixable cosmetic damage. Mostly just needs a paintjob as its blocked out in primer for now.
Anyway, I had been dong a bit of reading about them and have found apparently some differing info about the size weight and horsepower for this year.
What is its displacement? I understand its a few cc's higher than the early models.
What is the curb weight?
What is it supposed to pull RWHP? And general top speed stock?
Thanks in advance. I look forward to gaining a bit more knowledge about it around here . Any other good resource links would be appreciated as well.

96-99 RR's were 919cc's........93-95 were 893cc. They did make a bit more power. The 98-99 had a published (by Motorcyclist) 112rwhp.
The 96-97 I beleive were in the 107-109 range.
The weight of my 99 ACTUAL was 447 full of fluids. 223 front biased and 227 rear biased.
Top speed? 165 or so.
It all depends on the day and who tested it. There are too many variable to have it be a given that you will throw down certian numbers on any given day. Air quality (or lack of) makes ALL the difference in the world.
Welcome and good luck.
