Smile Need new front disc's and pads, which ones

Hello all,

I need to replace my front disc's and pads on my 1996 RR, I only ride on the road not the track and I am not hard on the brakes.
Can someone recommend a good disc brand and pad brand?

Thanks

EBC for rotors or stock and galfer or ferrado pads or stock works well IMHO

Thanks for the info, are the stock disc's like the ones on ebay for about $130 a pair?

Cheers

$130 a pair...what do they do, serve you tea at every stop light?
i saw that there are 3 different qualities of pads. the lowest ones [kevlar?]wear out too fast, the fancy ceramic pads are not worth the price...at least for street riding. i got a set of the sintered metallic pads at the suggestion of my mechanic. seem to work just fine...no break-in problems, and were reasonably priced. i see where there are expensive sets on ebay....but they are not any better than the $20-$30 sets. just do a little checking on the feedback of the seller, as should be done with all ebay sales.
rotors are another thing...you want name brand rotors...the cheapies will warp, rust, and generally be a PITA.
