How to fill carb bowls with gas
Just as the title says how do i fill the carb bowls with gas without turning the bike over with the starter cause it drains the batt. before it starts.
Just took the carbs apart to clean them and everything went back together without a hitch and the same way it came apart(just ALOT cleaner) and i need to know how to fill the bowls without killing my batt again.

RE: How to fill carb bowls with gas
Its got a brand new battery on it right now. I am going to double check the fuel flow from the petcock on the bottom of the tank and see what happens.
Just to make sure i got it right which way does the petcock need to be adjusted to make sure fuel is flowing to the motor? I have it in the down position cause there are no markings on the petcock and thats how i used to have it when i rode before and it seemed fine.
Isnt it up is off middle is reserve and down is run.

Ok again to double check cause my lever for the petcock is also missing if its clicked all the way to the left which way is that?
Does the tank need posative pressure for fuel to flow or is it just gravity fed/suction. I noticed there is an inlet fitting on the underside of the tank(actually part of the tank) does there need to be a line fed to that to provide posative pressure to force fuel from the tank?
