I am in love with the Fireblade and I'm looking to get '93 model. The crazy stupid thing is I really want to make it work for me. The bike is mainly bought for fun but occasionally I will be required to deliver Madagascan (!!) soap for work, not courier style but more relaxed. I can't afford to have two bikes. This defy's logic, but I want to live the dream any way.

I was hoping anyone might have advice on how to adapt racks; both top box and pannier hard luggage containers (it could be a lot of soap . I have a handy mate who loves this sort of thing which is a help. What I was thinking is get hold of the nearest thing to fitting it and then cut and weld my way to success...


But before I splash out, can anyone help?!

I found this but it still limits how much you could carry. It might give you a starting point for searching. Seems racks are more popular in the U.K. even though I've needed one more times than I can remember.
