Default front brakes issue

Hi Guys, i am the proud owner of a CBR 900 Fireblade 1999. its my pride and joy and flew through its mot on Friday.
I had a set of tyre to fit just in case it failed but didnt. But i wanted them on the bike as they where burning a hole in my bedroom floor, either that or the wife wanted to stick them in the garden.

anywho, i drove directly to a tyre shop after the mot was complete. I had left the tyres there waiting and the fitter took off the old ones and fitted the new ones. He removed the front calipers from there mounts to get the wheel off and when he refit them he pushed the pistons back in a bit.
now i dont have any front brakes.
The front brakes need to be pumped 3 times to get good pressure and then when released and wheel moves the pressure in the lever is no more and has to be pumped again.

as i had to get home to get to work, i rang up the next day to complain to be told that it must of been because of wear and tear and he couldnt take responsibility. now it the brakes worked fine when i drove in and had just seconds before passed an mot. He is willing to take a look on monday but i havnt got high hopes for him repairing the mess hes made.
any ideas what it could be. I did notice that the fluid pot was more full.

I guess the fluid reservoir is more full because the pistons are further inside the caliper than before, therefore pushing the fliud out and back up a bit.
Have you tried cleaning the calipers? I would get a toothbrush and brake cleaning spray and get in there and give it a good clean.
I'm not much of an expert, hopefully somebody can back this up or offer something better. Good luck mate.

Similar thing happened to me before. Make sure the wheel spacers are on their correct sides. If they're not, you will have a spongey lever and brakes may feel like a pad is dragging.

problem discovered, not a happy bunny,
bearing in mind i rode direct from a MOT test which i passed and the brakes where working completely fine. At least one of the disc rota's is bent. must of been when he was braking the bead on the tires on the machine thingy, i saw him close it on the disc and then move it back on to the wheel.
this will be fun tomorrow.
