Well. . whatever you decide to do, I'm not sure that chrome is the way to go. From the looks of it, I'd says that the bike was completely disassembled and dipped by someone. Just about everything that could be chromed, was. I'm certain that this process most certainly wasn't cheap.

 

Well to powdercoat you have to completely disassemble the bike as well. Then give it a good ole acid wash... then powder coat it... I know a shop about 45 min. from me that said they will do it for like$400
