just out of curiosity, HOW would someone(myself) be able to tell what year forks are on my bike?
heres the deal i have a 98 900rr i bought it layed down kinda hard onthe right side. the owner was not sure if he bent the forks so while replacing the right clipon, throttle assembly,right side pegs, and front rim, he replaced the forks but DID NOT BUY 98 forks,and they are from an older year 97/96/95 or so, hes not positive he was just told they would work, he has already gotten rid of the other forks, my question like i said earlier is , HOW do you find out what year forks they are so i can sell them, bcuz i have a set of 98 calipers that obviously dont fit, and i also bought a used set of 97 calipers that dont fit, SOOOOOOOO, im gettin aggravated at the this,,, somebody help please it woulud be much appreciated, thanks josh,
