My bike arrived thursday night at 630pm. When the guy opened the trailer I was like Holy Sh#$ that thing is huge. Since I only have permit it was dark so I had a friend with a license drive it 1/2 mile to my house. Wow talk about being intimated by this 900rr. Its been 19 yrs since I rode a bike and that was a FZR600. I have alwyas wanted a 900rr and got it. Friday I had to work. So today was my first ride. Drove it 60 miles all together. Now I'm not intimated by the size of it. It drove good. I only stalled 1 time at light. Took it to dealership to have it checked out. I had oil change and new front tire put on. Things I need to have done ASAP are fork seals leaking, Chain is little rusty and wasn't maintained very well. Other then that They said bike was Pristiene for a 95 model. My body feels a little sore from riding it today but that will fade as I ride it more. all and all it was a good day in Atlanta to ride. Little cold and little windy, but I made it through it. Now its going to get parked for winter. Seals I'll have done next month along with chain. Safty course in spring and then I will ride a little more. but not a whole lot. Its more of a collector Item for myself.
