What is the fastest you have gone in you cbr 900rr? I dont think anyone will believe mine....:D

well..i've run about 155mph...and that's the fastest my gut brought me :p - just did it once though, i don't have that long and big highway here at where i lived... and kinda dangerous to do that often :)

if you don't tell us how fast you went whats the point of your post?

Everything got real blurry!!

My 99 was stock with 5xxx miles. Was lucky enough to be living in AZ at the time. Northern AZ has a lot of open highways :D. I took a two lane road between two highways. No one around. The only thing I worried about was something running across the road.:eek:

That was and still is the fastest I have ever gone. Just purchased a beat up 95 that I plan on turning into a street fighter. Doubt I will be going that fast on this one.

i thought it would have been faster i have done 195mph on a blackbird and on my old girl cbr1000f 1996 have done 180mph

36 MPH and man I was clenching both cheeks like no other

I had my 900 up to 180,had a little left but couldn't see the speedometer anymore so I let out of it.

175 @ 10,000 rpm's. Hopefully the dual intake swap will get her in the red and I'll be looking at 180+. iT'S ON YOUTUBE, look up russ gastner or Crazy Chris.

186 here can't remember the rpm but there was some left so far I remember

162 on the back stretch of Road Atlanta Motorsports Park...Had more but ran out of track. Mostly stock bike...98 900RR

gear -1+2 so lost about 10% of the top end there too. sheeeeeeesh maybe had about 2K left before rev limiter...

I feel strongly I woulda easily broke 170 with stock gearing.

Best thing about the track is you can try topping out over and over again and not go to jail:)

I would never try it on the public road. too risky and it takes a long time to slow down, almost impossible to turn or lean too.

175 mph on mine till I flew by 2 parked troopers at 2 in the morning...lets just say I didnt stick around to find out their reaction

160mph.... As a Busa went shrieking around me..... Then we got off the highway and hit some curves, he didn't hang for too long.

previous owner did 165 on mine, has a +1 rear sprocket so that was close to the top for it, he said the tach read about 10,600. fastest i've gone is a little over 100, only been riding for a couple months so i'm still kinda chicken.

168 mph, jet kit, -1/+2 sprokets, yoshi slip on and a little nerve. Oh I forgot to mention, there was much throttle left just not enough road!!

183 and ran out of road, 2 up rear sprocket jet kit and slip on. all smog removed
