Hey guys, my buddy got a 94' 900rr last week and he wants and 97 or higher conversion done on the fairings. Any ideas or knowledge would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Its possible to convert the front cowl and the tail to a 98-99 model. The front cowl bracket need to adjusted and make it longer to to place the speedo and yes you need to replace the headlight as well.

He'll also need the correct mirror stay. If he's going with a '95-'97 upper, he'll need the '95 stay. It mounts to the frame in the same spot as '93-'94 but matches up to the fairing propperly. If using a '98-'99 upper he will need to build a small bracket to allow for the frame portion of the mirror stay mountmount, or drill and tap the frame. Either will work fine and is really a lot more simple than it sounds. Also, he's going to need the corresponding inner fairings as they are different with each style upper.

 

Ok here we go I make a tail section for that bike thats just sick

and you can mod a F4I front to it with out allot of work it will bolt upt to the stock mids
