Default F3 rims and the 900

Hey Folks,

I was just wondering if you would be able to answer a quick question for me. I want to replace my 16' rim with a 17' from an F3. I know that this will work. The question is will the rear rim work as well? If so will I have to change anything? Is it just a bolt up?

Thanks

Not likely a bolt on and why would you want to do that? The rear of your 900RR is wider.....5.5" and will spoon on a 180 vs a 160 or maybe 170 on the F3. Just leave the rear.

Good luck.......everyone wants them for the same reason. USE caution on E-Bay......they are selling F2 rims at F3 prices because of this.....dont get ripped off!!

I just got an "F3" rim from a guy. I will be putting it on my '93 in the next couple days. Email me and I can give you his info if the rim is good.

So far the rotors from my 900rr will not fit the supposed F3 rim. I am trying to research and see if the "F3" rotors will work on the 900rr setup.
